India conducts successful test of Agni-III Ballistic Missile from Chandipur, Odisha

India successfully carried out a test launch of the Agni-III Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missile, marking another milestone in the country’s strategic missile programme. The missile was test-fired from the Integrated Test Range in Eastern India’s Chandipur.

According to the Ministry of Defenc, the launch met all mission objectives and validated the missile’s operational as well as technical parameters.

The test was conducted under the supervision of the Strategic Forces Command on February 06, 2026, which is responsible for managing the country’s strategic assets. The Defence Ministry confirmed the successful trial through an official statement.
