India U19 Cricket set a mammoth target of 412 runs against England in the Final of World Cup Cricket at Harare Sports club, Zimbabwe. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored his big century with 175 runs. Captain Ayush Mhatre well supported with a consecutive half century.

India won the toss and chose to bat. From ball one India attacked the English bowlers. In particular Sooryvanshi was very aggressive. He scored the record 175 from 80 balls in a U19 world cup final with 15 fours and 15 sixes.

Sooryavanshi and Mhatre put brilliant 142 runs for the second wicket. And India grabbed 89 runs for the third wicket with Vedant Trivedi and the centurian.

For England James Minto was the successful bowler with the figure of 3-63.

England was 19-1 in 5 overs when last report came in.
