Appreciation for MP Laxmikant Vajpayee’s Initiative

Ashwini Vaishnaw specifically praised the efforts of Rajya Sabha MP Shri Laxmikant Vajpayee. The Railway Minister said that he had personally requested the MP to hold discussions with senior citizens and prominent citizens of Meerut so that the station’s design could truly reflect the spirit of the freedom movement.

The Minister said, “I thank Honorable MP Laxmikant Vajpayee ji for taking a very positive initiative in this direction. He sat down with local senior citizens and brainstormed, and has presented a new design. Work at the station is currently progressing rapidly based on this new design.”
