The recruits displayed exemplary drill and discipline, marching in perfect synchronisation with the band. Of the total 324 trainees, 171 were women.

The new recruits successfully completed a 16-week rigorous basic training at RTC Deoli, which included physical conditioning, drill, weapon handling, unarmed combat, industrial security, law, human rights, gender sensitisation and soft skills.

Addressing the trainees, the Chief Guest urged them to keep playing and contribute towards India’s aspiration of becoming a top-10 sporting nation by 2036.

He highlighted India’s bid to host the 2036 Olympic Games in Ahmedabad and the 2030 Commonwealth Games, and emphasized the deep synergy between sports and security through shared discipline, commitment and resilience.

Aligning his remarks with the Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, he called upon the recruits to serve with dedication, balance duty with sportsmanship, and contribute cohesively to nation-building.

Speaking on the occasion, CISF Director General Praveer Ranjan said that the Force is taking comprehensive measures to encourage sports and nurture sporting talent.

He highlighted that the 2025 recruitment drive was the largest sports induction undertaken by CISF since its raising in 1969, and noted that the batch includes 18 international-level gold medallists and 56 national-level gold medallists. With this induction, the number of CISF women sports teams has increased significantly, strengthening the Force’s sports ecosystem.

The Director General further reiterated that CISF’s revamped sports policy, enhanced welfare measures, specialised coaching, and institutional support aim to transform CISF into a leading centre of sporting excellence among Central Armed Police Forces, while continuing to deliver robust security to the nation.
