Carlos Alcaraz Prepares for Australian Open in Melbourne

World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz held a practise session at Melbourne Park as he prepares for the Australian Open, set to start on Sunday.

The Spaniard has won all the other majors and just needs to lift the trophy in Melbourne to complete a career Grand Slam. Alcaraz yet to win an Australia Open Trophy, best being in the quarter final twice.

He will face some tough competition as defending champ, Jannik Sinner is chasing a three-peat this year to add to his wins in 2024 and 2025.

The home favourite, Australian Alex De Minaur, also took the opportunity to get some practice as he chases his first-ever major.
