Zelensky says “Around 1000 people being killed everyday since last December”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that, around 1000 people being killed everyday since last December. 
Sharing a video on social media ‘X’ Zelensky further said, “This is how Russia is essentially paying just to keep the war from ending. This is madness and it can only be stopped by combined forces – the forces of Europe and the United States, the forces of all our partners. Every day of this war is a reminder that the world cannot protect itself from madmen. We must protect it. Russia must be stopped. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine! Thank you to everyone who helps our people, our defense, and our recovery! Glory to Ukraine!” 
In many regions, the situation getting worse after Russian strikes on critical infrastructure. Energy workers and repair crews are working around the clock to restore electricity, heat, and water supply for people.
Yesterday, Zelensky stated , “I am grateful to everyone involved. Over the course of this week, Russia launched almost 1,100 attack drones against Ukraine, more than 890 guided aerial bombs, and over 50 missiles of various types – ballistic, cruise, and even the Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile. And they struck targets that have no military purpose whatsoever – energy infrastructure, residential buildings.”
