Fire Tragedy Averted at Arampora, Qamarwari

A major disaster was averted at Arampora in the Qamarwari area of Srinagar when a fire broke out in a residential structure, creating panic in the locality.

According to officials, a fire call was received by the State Fire Control Room at 20:58 hours, following which fire tenders from Fire Station Safakadal, along with reinforcements from Fire and Emergency Services Headquarters, were immediately dispatched to the spot.

On reaching the scene, firefighters found the attic portion of the house engulfed in flames. Firefighting operations were launched promptly, and after an intense and well-coordinated effort, the fire was successfully brought under control, thereby preventing it from spreading to adjoining residential structures.
