Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for the Kutch and Saurashtra regions in Rajkot.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister launched the development of 14 greenfield estates under Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) and inaugurated a GIDC Medical Devices Park in Rajkot.

The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference aims to accelerate investment and industrial growth in western Gujarat. The achievements of these regional conferences will be showcased at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in January 2027.

The conference focuses on sectors including ceramics, engineering, ports and logistics, fisheries, petrochemicals, agriculture and food processing, minerals, green energy ecosystems, skill development, startups, MSMEs, tourism, and culture. Partner countries for the conference include Japan, South Korea, Rwanda, and Ukraine.
