Parliament Budget Session to Begin on Jan 28

The Budget Session of the Indian Parliament will begin from January 28, 2026, and continue until April 2, 2026.

In a social media post, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju announced that President Droupadi Murmu has approved summoning Parliament for the session. Following standard practice, the session will be held in two phases.

The first phase will conclude on February 13, after which Parliament will adjourn for a recess. The second phase will begin on March 9 and continue until April 2.
