India’s ‘Homebound’ advances to the next round in Oscar

Film ‘Homebound’, entered in the Oscar international race. The film has advanced to the next round of voting in the Best International Feature Film category at the upcoming 96th Academy Awards, marking a significant step forward in the country’s Oscar journey this year.

The Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa and Janhavi Kapoor starrer ‘Homebound’ is directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and produced by Dharma Productions.

Homebound joins fourteen other acclaimed films from around the world on the shortlist released by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The film’s progression to the second round strengthens India’s hopes for a final nomination in one of the most prestigious Oscar categories.

Director Ghaywan has made acclaimed films like Masaan and Juice.
