Dense Fog to Continue Over Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, And Punjab: IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast very dense fog conditions during morning and night hours over Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab till tomorrow.

The weather agency predicted dense fog conditions over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Madhya Pradesh today. Similar conditions are expected over Delhi, Jharkhand, and Arunachal Pradesh till tomorrow.

The Met Department said that cold wave conditions are very likely in isolated pockets of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh today.

Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR has been registered in the very poor category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index (AQI) of the National Capital was recorded at 384 as of 6 AM today.
