Bangladesh Police in Chattogram are investigating a series of arson attacks targeting Hindu families.
The fire occurred early Tuesday in Sultanpur, where the door of a house was allegedly locked from the outside, forcing the family to escape by climbing over a fence.
Similar attacks have struck at least six Hindu households over the past five days in nearby wards, with kerosene-soaked cloth and handwritten notes found at the scenes. Police have filed all the cases.
The estimated losses in the latest blaze are between 8,00,000 and 1 million Taka.
