U-19 Asia Cup Final: India won the toss, Pak 149/2 in 22 Overs

India is taking on Pakistan in the Under-19 Asia Cup final in Dubai today.

After winning the toss India chose to field first. Pakistan is 149/2 in 22 overs when last report came in.

Pakistani opener Sameer Minhas batting on 79 in 56 deliveries with 11 fours and 2 sixes. Left arm spinner Khilan Patel and Henil Patel have taken one wicket each.

India have dominated the tournament, remaining unbeaten so far. They began their campaign with a thumping 234-run win over the United Arab Emirates. They then defeated Pakistan in their second match before thrashing Malaysia in their final league encounter. India overcame Sri Lanka in the semi-final to seal a place in the final.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been in dominant form, with the highlight being his stunning 171-run innings against the UAE in the opener. Meanwhile, Abhigyan Kundu has also hogged the spotlight with his 209-run knock. Middle-order batter Aaron George has also impressed, registering three consecutive half-centuries.

Meanwhile, Pakistan defeated Malaysia in their opener before losing to India. They bounced back with a 70-run win over the UAE and went on to defeat Bangladesh in the semi-final to reach the summit clash.
