The Indian Army’s Deep Strikers of Kharga Corps successfully conducted the trial of the drone ‘Kharga Chakra’ on Friday.

The trial featured a newly developed unmanned aerial vehicle capable of flying up to 100 kilometres and withstanding electronic warfare attacks.

The drone was jointly developed by Chennai-based startups in collaboration with the Deep Strikers Eagle team.

The test was carried out at the Mahajan Field Firing Range in Rajasthan and was witnessed by Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar.

The successful trial marks a significant step toward India’s objective of achieving self-reliance in advanced drone technology.
