Dense fog to prevail over north India and northeast till tomorrow: IMD

The India Meteorological Department has forecast cold wave conditions at isolated places over Interior Karnataka and Telangana today. IMD said that dense fog-like conditions are likely to prevail over Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh and the North-Eastern parts of the country till tomorrow.

IMD has also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds at isolated places over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands today.

Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR continues to be in the Severe + category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index, AQI, of the national capital was recorded at 454 as of 7 AM today.
