India got 20 medals, including 9 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze medals at the Summer Deaflympics 2025 held in Japan. India has finished at sixth place overhaul on the medal tally with a record.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Indian Deaflympians for their performance at the 25th Summer Deaflympics 2025 in Tokyo.
In a social media post, he said that with a medal tally of 20 medals, including 9 Golds, the country’s athletes have once again proven that determination and dedication can lead to outstanding results. He complimented every athlete, coach and support staff member and said that the entire nation is proud of them.
