TEC And IIIT-Delhi Sign MoU On Telecom Research

Telecommunications Engineering Centre under the Department of Telecommunications today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi for joint studies and technical contributions in telecom technologies and global standardisation activities.

The collaboration focuses on key domains, including AI in telecom, 5G and 6G, Renewable Energy Technologies, Software Defined Network and Network Function Virtualization.

The agreement aims to strengthen indigenous research, design and manufacturing in telecom, developing India-specific standards, test frameworks and home-grown solutions that bolster national self-reliance.
