Georgian Interior Minister Gela Geladze said on Wednesday that 18 bodies have been recovered from the crash site of a Turkish C-130 military cargo plane near the Georgia–Azerbaijan border. Two soldiers remain unaccounted for.
According to the Turkish Defence Ministry, all 20 soldiers aboard the aircraft were killed. The plane, built by US defence manufacturer Lockheed Martin, reportedly lost control before hitting the ground and bursting into flames. The plane fell in 3 different sections.
