Trishul: Indian Armed Forces Conduct Joint Exercise Warships and Fighter Jets

Multi-domain tri-service exercise Trishul is underway along the western border with Pakistan. Briefing the media in New Delhi yesterday, Director General Naval Operations Vice Admiral AN Pramod said, the exercise will be conducted till the 13th of this month.

Vice Admiral Pramod said, the Indian Army’s southern command, the Indian Navy’s western command, the Air Force’s South-Western Air Command, as well as the Coast Guard, BSF and other central agencies are participating in exercise Trishul.

He said that the Navy is participating with 20-25 Naval Warships and the Air Force with 40 fighter jets.  Vice Admiral Pramod said that the exercise aims to enhance the synergy between all the maritime forces as well as the inter-services.

Meanwhile, briefing the media on the upcoming international fleet review and Milan exercise, which is scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam in February 2026, Navy Vice Chief Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan said, that both the United States and Russia have confirmed their participation in the upcoming international fleet review and naval exercise MILAN.

He said, both nations would be sending their ships, and some aircraft are also.

Vice Admiral Vatsayan said, Operation Sindoor is not over yet. He said, the Indian Navy is effectively deployed depending on requirements and threat assessment. He further said, the Indian Navy is monitoring each and every Chinese vessel that enters the Indian Ocean region.
