ESTIC 2025: Ministry of Ayush Organizes Curtain Raiser Press Conference

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) will organize the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 from 3-5 November 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. In a Curtain Raiser Press Conference, a thematic video was released by Alarmelmangai D, Joint Secretary of Ministry of Ayush today at the CCRAS Headquarter.
Dr. A Raghu, Advisor (Ayurveda), Dr. Subhash Kaushik, Director General, CCRH, Dr N, Zaheer Ahmed, Director General, CCRUM, and Dr. N Srikanth, Deputy Director General, CCRAS were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the Media, Alarmelmangai D said, “ESTIC 2025 will bring together of bright minds, passionate innovators and visionary institutions to co-create the future where healthcare is accessible, affordable and human served.”
“Our collective efforts will highlight India’s leadership in health innovation and generate new collaborations,” she said.
ESTIC 2025 serve as India’s premier Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) platform, bringing together ministries, innovators, research institutions, industry leaders, start-ups, and global visionaries.
Dr. A. Raghu, said that ESTIC 2025 provides a national platform to highlight India-centric innovations, point-of-care diagnostics, biomedical technologies, and integrative healthcare solutions.
He further added that the Ministry’s dedicated session on Health and Medical Technologies will demonstrate how traditional systems can synergize with modern biomedical research to develop scalable health innovations for the future.
The Conclave aims to showcase cutting-edge research, deep-tech innovations, and transformative technologies that will drive India’s innovation-led growth and contribute toward the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, ESTIC 2025 will feature keynote addresses, thematic sessions, panel discussions, and exhibitions spanning emerging technologies, health and medical innovations, Al for social impact, renewable energy, space technologies, and other frontier areas.
ESTIC 2025 will be organized around 11 key thematic areas, representing India’s priority sectors in science, technology, and innovation. These include Health & Medical Technologies, Artificial Intelligence for Social Impact, Energy & Sustainability, Space & Defence Technologies, Quantum Technologies, Biotechnology & Life Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing & Materials, Climate Change & Environment, Digital & Emerging Technologies, Education & Skill Development, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
As a Partner Ministry in ESTIC 2025, the Ministry of Ayush is actively contributing under the thematic area of Health & Medical Technologies.
The dedicated session, will be held on November 4, 2025, will highlight India’s progress in advancing accessible, affordable, and technology-driven healthcare solutions. The session will focus on the convergence of traditional and modern medicine, biomedical innovation, and emerging technologies to strengthen India’s healthcare ecosystem.
The session will be co-chaired by Dr. Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, and Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Secretary, Department of Health Research (DHR) & Director-General, ICMR.
