Russia’s Defence Ministry ina press release said on Monday that it had downed 193 Ukrainian drones overnight, while local authorities reported one person killed and five others injured in the attack.
Aleksandr Bogomaz, the governor of the border region of Bryansk, said on Telegram that a minibus was struck in the village of Pogar, killing the driver and injuring five passengers.
According to the Defence Ministry, Russian forces downed 47 drones in Bryansk, which borders Ukraine, and 40 in the Moscow region, most of them headed toward the capital.
Russia’s aviation watchdog, Rosaviatsiya, said that two of Moscow’s four airports — Domodedovo and Zhukovsky — were briefly closed for safety reasons.
