Indian women cricket team beat New Zealand by 53 runs (DLS Method) in an ODI World Cup Cricket league match at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai tonight. Now India has greater chance to place them in the Semifinals. Australia, South Africa, England are already in the SF. The fourth spot is yet to be decided.
With one match each to play India to face Bangladesh and New Zealand to face England in their last encounters.
India greater placed with 6 points with 3 wins and the Net Run Rate is to +0.628, where as New Zealand have 4 points and the NRR is -0.490.
If India registers a win against Bangladesh then they will qualify for the Semis. If India losses, the New Zealand have to register a win against England with a higher margin, which seems very very difficult.
