The 4th edition of the India-Australia joint military exercise, AUSTRAHIND, is currently underway in Perth from October 13 to 26, 2025, showcasing deepening defence ties between the two nations.

This year’s focus is on joint Company-level counter-terrorism operations in urban and semi-urban settings, along with simulated UN peacekeeping missions. The exercise aims to enhance interoperability, tactical coordination, and operational readiness in real-world scenarios.

Troops are actively engaged in tactical drills, experience sharing, and joint training, while also participating in cultural exchanges to foster camaraderie and mutual respect.

AUSTRAHIND 2025 reinforces the shared commitment of India and Australia to regional peace, security, and strategic cooperation.
