Goa’s former Chief Minister and present Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik passed away last night following a cardiac arrest. He was 79.

Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant expressed deep sorrow over his demise, describing Naik as a stalwart of Goan politics whose decades of dedicated service had left an indelible mark on the state’s governance.

In his condolence message, Dr Sawant said Naik’s leadership, humility, and contribution to public welfare would always be remembered, extending heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and supporters.
