Exclusive Video: Baby elephant rescued in Manas National Park

A baby wild elephant was rescued after being trapped under a fallen tree in Manas National Park, Assam. The incident occurred in the Kuklung Range of the Manas National Park. The incident occurred, when a large tree suddenly collapsed, trapping the calf beneath.

Forest officials immediately rushed to the spot and managed to free the calf by cutting through the branches. The baby elephant was rescued safely.

Park authorities including forest range officers, were present at the site and expressed gratitude to the rescuers for their prompt action. Meanwhile, forest minister Chandra Mohan Patowary, shared a video of the rescue operation on his social media page, praising the efforts of the team.
