People in several European countries staged pro-Palestine protests on Saturday, condemning Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip. Thousands of protesters gathered in London’s Trafalgar Square, waving Palestinian flags and holding banners to show solidarity with Palestine.
A total of 442 individuals were arrested by the Metropolitan Police during the protest. Similar demonstrations took place in Italy and France, where protesters demanded their governments halt cooperation with Israel.
