The Pakistani Air Force has conducted an airstrike in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing 30 people, including women and children. The airstrike was conducted around 2 AM when the Pakistani fighter jets JF-17 dropped eight LS-6 bombs on the Matre Dara village located in the Tirah Valley, causing a massacre. Disturbing pictures and videos of the incident site showed bodies, including children.

Reports indicated that the scene is one of devastation, with bodies strewn across homes and streets. International human rights organisations have called for an investigation into these allegations, urging protection of civilians and accountability for any violations.

The Pakistani military and government are silent on this incident. The official silence is, however, in consonance with Pakistan’s armed forces’ actions on its own citizens, as seen earlier in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or in Balochistan.
