India’s pride, Minakshi Hooda, created history by clinching the Gold Medal at the World Boxing Championships 2025. Speaking about her win, she expressed joy in making her parents and the country proud, adding that she had entered the championships determined to secure gold for India.
A Constable/GD in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) since 2021, Minakshi acknowledged the Force’s strong support in sports, which enabled her journey to the world stage.
