So, the rumours were true, and for Samsung, the warning bells are real. Those who said Samsung should be worried were right, because the Pixel 10 series has officially launched, and it’s here to shake things up. This year’s highlights are the all-new ProRes AI Zoom feature and the long-awaited arrival of MagSafe-like charging on Android, introduced as Pixel Snap. And Google has substantially corrected mistakes made last year with the Pixel 9 series. And obviously, pixels are known for photos.

Display

The Pixel 10 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 1280 × 2856 resolution at 495 PPI. It supports a 1–120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and delivers up to 3,300 nits peak brightness, HDR, and over 16 million colours with a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Battery

The phone packs a 4870 mAh battery (typical) that delivers over 24 hours of use, and up to 100 hours with Extreme Battery Saver. It supports fast charging with a 30W USB-C PPS charger (sold separately) and PixelSnap wireless charging (Qi2 certified) up to 15W.

Performance

The Pixel 10 is powered by the Google Tensor G5 processor, paired with the Titan M2 security coprocessor. It comes with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

Cameras

The Pixel 10 boasts a pro triple rear camera system:

On the front, the Pixel 10 houses a 42 MP Dual PD selfie camera with autofocus, an ƒ/2.2 aperture, and a 103° ultrawide field of view, making it perfect for selfies and group shots.

Video & Audio

The Pixel 10 supports 8K video at 24/30 FPS (with Video Boost), along with 4K at up to 60 FPS and 1080p at up to 60 FPS. The front camera records 4K at 30/60 FPS. Features include Night Sight Video, Macro Focus Video, 10-bit HDR, Cinematic Blur, Cinematic Pan, slo-mo up to 240 FPS, and 4K timelapse with stabilisation. including astrophotography and Night Sight timelapses.

Stabilisation is top-tier, with optical, fused, cinematic pan, locked, and active video modes. On the audio side, the Pixel 10 offers stereo recording, speech enhancement, wind noise reduction, and audio zoom. Supported formats include HEVC (H.265), AVC (H.264), AV1, and VP9.

Safety features include Emergency SOS, Crisis Alerts, Car Crash Detection, Safety Check, Emergency Contacts & Medical Info, the Android Earthquake Alerts System, and Theft Protection.
