During President Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK, the United Kingdom and the United States are set to sign a landmark technology agreement in the coming days.

The agreement is designed to strengthen collaboration between the two nations’ trillion-dollar tech industries, creating enhanced opportunities for businesses and consumers across the Atlantic.

Although final details are still being negotiated, the British Embassy in Washington confirmed the partnership will focus on key technology areas such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, telecommunications, and quantum computing.

President Trump is scheduled to arrive in the UK on Tuesday for his second state visit. During the three day visit, he will be accompanied by a delegation of U.S. executives, including Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and OpenAI’s Sam Altman.
