The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organize Sewa Pakhwada across the country from the 17 September 2025 on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. In a media briefingat the party headquarters in New Delhi today, senior party leader and Union Minister Bhupender Yadav said that the Sewa Pakhwada will continue till the 2nd of October, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
He said during the Sewa Pakhwada, various programmes have been planned around various themes so that people from every section of society can actively connect.
Yadav said, “Mr. Modi has brought forward fundamental values like service and cleanliness into India’s politics. As the CM of Gujarat and PM he inspired the youth to get involved in the service of the nation during natural calamities.”
He said that the nation is moving towrds ODF, and sustainanable develeopment. All these topics will be showcased in exhibitions in all the districts of the states.
He said that, because of Prime Minister Modi’s sensitivity towards protecting nature, India is now progressing strongly in the direction of environmental conservation.
Aligning with the 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti, blood donation camps, healthand wellness camps will be organized through out the nation.
People from various background like arts, literature, sports will be awarded during the service fortnight.
During the media briefibg BJP National General Secretary, Sunil Bansal said that a marathon called ‘Modi Vikas Marathan’ will be organized on 21 September.
