India beat UAE in the 2nd match of the Asia Cup T20 2025 in Dubai today. India won the match by 9 wickets in just 4.3 overs.
In the group A match, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. UAE never capitalize on the score and wickets tumbled in regular intervals.
For the first wicket Alishan Sarafu and Muhammad Waseem put some efforts and scored 26 runs. But nobody able to get score or survive against the spirited Indian fast and spin bowlers aftermath.
UAE were all out for meagre 57 runs in 13.1 overs. Except Sarafu (22) and Waseem (19), no batsman able to get the double figure.
For India Player of the match, Kuldeep Yadav got magnificent figure of 4/7 in just 2.1 overs. He was well supported by Shivam Dubey who got 3/4. Jaspreet Bumrah, Axar Patel and Varun Chakaravarthy one wicket each.
Chasing a small total India came blazing with Abhishek Sharma and Shubhman Gill put 48 runs in just 3.5 overs. 16 balls 30 runs knock of Sharma includes 3 towering sixes and 2 fours. He got out to Junaid Siddique. Gill played the winning four to the wide of mid on to finish the game.
