IMD Warns of Intense Rain, Thunderstorms in Different Parts

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Rajasthan and Gujarat today. IMD predicted heavy rainfall over Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Uttarakhand for two to three days.

The weather agency also indicated that light to moderate rainfall is expected in Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Madhya Pradesh over the next three to four days.

Furthermore, thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are anticipated in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Kerala, Maharashtra, and Telangana until tomorrow.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rainfall is forecasted for the Delhi-NCR region today. weather agency said that light to moderate rainfall is also likely over Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Madhya Maharashtra during the next three to four days.
