US Open 2025: Aryna Sabalenka retains women’s singles title

World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka has successfully defended her US Open crown after beating Amanda Anisimova in straight sets in the Women’s Singles final. Defending champion Sabalenka beat Anisimova 6-3, 7-6 last night.

This triumph secured Sabalenka her fourth Grand Slam overall. Spanish-Argentine duo of Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos clinched the men’s doubles title after defeating the British pair of Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski in the final.

The Spanish-Argentine duo triumphed 3-6, 7-6, 7-5, securing their second Grand Slam title of the season.

The No. 5-seeded pair had also won the French Open earlier this year, defeating the same opponents, Salisbury and Skupski.

In Men’s Singles, Italy’s Jannik Sinner powered into the final with a commanding four-set victory over Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Sinner won 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, displaying mechanical precision and relentless focus. He will face Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, who stormed into the final beating Novak Djokovic in straight sts 6-4, 7-6, 6-2

It is expected that it will be a highly anticipated final tonight.
