The man, identified as local labour Rajesh Kumar who slipped into the fast-flowing waters near Badi Hawala while crossing a makeshift bridge, leaving him stranded on a rocky outcrop for over two hours.

Indian Army engineers from the 13 Rajputana Rifles deployed a compact quadcopter Un Armed Vehicle (UAV), equipped with a thermal camera and lifeline payload, enabling them to precisely locate Kumar despite poor visibility.

With Rajasthan’s monsoon season having claimed 45 lives statewide so far, the Indian Army has intensified patrols along vulnerable rivers to prevent further casualties in the region.
