Former India Test player Cheteshwar Pujara thanked Prime Minister Modi, for receiving a letter of appreciation.
He wrote on social platform X:
“I was honoured to receive a letter of appreciation on my retirement from our Honourable Prime Minister. The warm sentiments expressed are much appreciated. While I venture into my second innings, I cherish every memory on the field, and all the love and appreciation I have received. Thank you Sir.”

Cheteshwar Pujara recently took retirement from all form of cricket. The former top order batsman has scored 7,195 runs from 103 Test Matches with 19 centuries and 35 half centuries.
The Saurashtra batsman was known for his patience, pereservance and resilience which made him a complete Test player.
