Sift Kaur Samra continued India’s dominant performance at the Asian Shooting Championship by clinching two gold medals on Tuesday.
In the women’s 50-metre rifle 3 positions event final, Samra edged past China’s Yujie Yang with a composed finish. Trailing by 0.3 points before the final two shots, the Indian shooter held her nerve, scoring 9.6 and 10 to take the top spot.
The reigning Asian Games champion also secured team gold alongside Ashi Chouksey and Anjum Moudgil.
With her victories, India’s medal tally at the senior level rose to 19 — including nine gold, three silver, and seven bronze medals.
