PM appealed for unanimous support for C P Radhakrishnan as VP: Kiren Rijiju

Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Kiren Rijiju today said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to all political parties to unanimously support the candidature of C P Radhakrishnan for the post of Vice-President of India.

In the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Party Meeting held in Delhi today, C P Radhakrishnan was formally introduced, and the BJP appealed to all its alliances to elect Radhakrishnan as the VP

Earlier on Monday, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, along with Union Ministers Bhupender Yadav,  Kiren Rijiju, Pralhad Joshi, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, and Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, received the Governor of Maharashtra, C.P. Radhakrishnan, at IGI Airport, New Delhi.

NDA’s Vice President Candidate C. P. Radhakrishnan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Radhakrishnan’s name was decided in the Parliamentary Board Meeting on Sunday. After the resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar the Vice Presidential election was announced and NDA has picked the Maharashtra Governor’s name.
