The Indian community in Cyprus celebrated Janmashtami with devotion and unity, marking the birth of Lord Krishna with traditional rituals.

The festival was celebrated with religious fervor, including prayers, bhajans, and other rituals in temples and homes.

Janmashtami provides an opportunity for the Indian community in Cyprus to connect, share their traditions, and foster a sense of unity.

Janmashtami was also celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at the Geeta Ashram Mandir in Madrid, Spain.

The programme began with a soulful recitation of the 12th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, followed by the chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa.

Devotees performed vibrant dances and staged a play based on Lord Krishna’s life and teachings, earning warm applause from the audience.
