Six Kanwariyas killed and several injured in Deoghar bus accident

Six Kanwariyas were killed and 24 were injured when a bus collided with a truck in Deoghar, Jharkhand, today. The deadly accident occurred near Nawakura village in the Jamunia forest area.

The Kanwariyas were travelling in a 32 seater bus from Deoghar to Dumka’s Baba Basukinath Temple reportedly hit to a gas cylinder-carrying truck.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed condolences to the families of the devotees who lost their lives. In a social media post, the Prime Minister called the accident tragic. PM Modi also wished for the speedy recovery of all the injured.

Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren also expressed sorrow over the accident occurred. He stated that the injured are being treated by the District hospital to get recovered as soon as possible.
