An anti-terrorist operation is underway in the upper reaches of Dachigam, near Harwan in Srinagar, officials said. Just the report came that, three terrorist have been neutralised in an intense firefight.
Additional security forces have been rushed to the area as part of the ongoing operation. Details regarding casualties or terrorists involved are not yet available.
Further, the area has been cordoned off, and searches are continuing.
Indian Army’s Chinar Corps posted on X “OP MAHADEV: Contact established in General Area Lidwas. Operation in progress.”
