The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé was launched in India recently. Produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai, the second-generation BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé will be available in the country exclusively in the petrol powertrain.
The car is available in various paintworks – Brooklyn Grey Metallic, Portimao Blue metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic and Alpine White. The following upholstery options are available – Veganza Perforated ‘Mocha’ and Veganza Perforated ‘Oyster’.
The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé is fitted as standard with an advanced 7-speed Steptronic transmission with double clutch, enabling harmonious and particularly fast gear changes in addition to providing a high level of shifting comfort. Improvements include all-electric actuation, a wider spread of gears and increased efficiency.
The interior of the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé is crafted with sustainable materials for a modern, conscious drive. It comes with a leather-free interior, including seat surfaces, door trims, and the instrument panel. Newly designed Sport seats with adjustable under thigh support, electric adjustment, memory function for the driver and raised side bolsters offer a high level of long-distance comfort.
The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé benefits from extensively redesigned suspension technology, lending even greater intensity to the driving pleasure. Agility, steering precision and cornering dynamics are enhanced by the increased rigidity of the body structure and chassis. The new shock absorber technology improves ride comfort and reduces rolling movements during dynamic cornering.
The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé comes with the latest version of BMW iDrive with QuickSelect to provide intuitive, easy control. Its home screen shows vertically arranged function icons on the same level. The new BMW iDrive is geared squarely to touch and voice control.
MyBMW App functions include popular options for keeping an eye on the current vehicle status at all times. Wireless Apple CarPlay® / Android Auto for smartphone opens up access to a range of functions and apps. My Modes provide for a customizable driving and interior experience.
