The BBC has announced it will no longer work with Gregg Wallace, a presenter on the popular cooking show MasterChef, following an inquiry that upheld numerous sexual harassment complaints against him.

A long investigation, commissioned by production company Banijay, substantiated 45 of 83 allegations made against Wallace. The probe began after more than a dozen individuals came forward in November, reporting misconduct dating back to 2005.

The BBC has issued a formal apology to all those affected by Wallace’s behaviour and stated it has “no plans” to collaborate with him in the future.
