The Enforcement Directorate is carrying out simultaneous searches at seven locations across Punjab and Haryana today. According to ED, these searches are in connection with the Donkey Route case related to the illegal immigrants deported from the United States in February this year.
The ED said the searches are based on credible inputs gathered in previous search operations conducted at eleven locations this week. Inputs gathered shows that human traffickers were used to arrange illegal route resources outside India in connivance with human trafficking conduits.
