AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge Unveils Statue of Konijeti Rosaiah in Hyderabad

A nine-foot bronze statue of former chief minister and governor Konijeti Rosaiah was unveiled by AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge at Lakdikapool in Hyderabad today, commemorating his birth anniversary.

The statue, weighing 450 kg, has been installed at the busy intersection near the Lakdikapool metro station. The unveiling ceremony was attended by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers D. Sridhar Babu and Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, and members of Rosaiah family.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Revanth Reddy hailed Konijeti Rosaiah as an exemplary and principled leader who left a significant mark on public life. “Rosaiah garu holds the rare distinction of presenting the state budget 16 times as finance minister in the united Andhra Pradesh under Congress governments. His political career was unblemished, and he brought dignity, simplicity, and accountability to every post he held,” Revanth said.
