MDNIY Organizes Yoga Bandhan programme in New Delhi

The programme witnessed the participation of prominent delegates from various countries

As a run up to International Yoga Day 2025 on the 21st of this month, Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga today organized the Yoga Bandhan programme in New Delhi. The programme witnessed the participation of prominent delegates from various countries including Denmark, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Argentina among others.

The initiative is one of the 10 Signature Events being promoted in connection with IDY-2025 and reflects India’s commitment to strengthening global cooperation through building institution to institution connections in Yoga.

Addressing the gathering, Secretary of Ministry of Ayush, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha said the delegation members have played a significant role in promoting yoga in their countries. Their five day India tour will include visits to iconic locations across the nation which will also include leading the International Yoga day celebrations.

The delegates will attend cultural visits and institutional dialogues. Their tour will culminate in their participation in the International Yoga Day event on the 21st of this month.
