Indian astronaut and group captain of the Indian Air Force Shubhanshu Shukla is all set for his first journey to space aboard Space X’s  Axiom -4 mission tomorrow evening for a two week stay on the International Space Station. He will be piloting the mission aboard, setting yet another milestone for India.

The flight from Nasa’s Kennedy Space Centre, Florida, United States will begin the journey at 5.52 Indian Standard Time tomorrow. Group Captain Shukla was selected for mission in 2020. He underwent rigorous training at various space centres and was nominated for this chosen journey as India’s first astronaut to join International Space Station(ISS).

In an exclusive interview with Akashvani News, India’s first Astronaut Rakesh Sharma extended his best wishes to Shubhanshu Shukla for his upcoming space mission.
