The all-party parliamentary delegation, led by MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, returned this morning after concluding a successful six-nation Europe tour aimed at conveying India’s resolute and united stand against terrorism.
The delegation visited France, Italy, Denmark, England, Belgium (Brussels), and Germany, engaging with key lawmakers, think tanks, and the Indian diaspora. The final leg in Berlin saw interactions with members of the German Bundestag and prominent German policy institutions.
During their engagements, the delegation emphasized India’s zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism. They asserted that no distinction can be made between terrorists and their supporters or shelter-providers.
Addressing the Indian community in Berlin on 07 May, 2025, the team observed a two-minute silence in solemn tribute to victims. The community pledged solidarity with India’s anti-terror stance and lauded the nation’s global leadership under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Ravi Shankar Prasad called the visit to Germany “highly successful” and noted that India’s message received wide respect across all countries visited. The delegation also underscored that India’s response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack was “precise, measured, and non-escalatory.”
