As part of India’s continued efforts under Operation Sindoor and in line with its principled and resolute stand against terrorism, multiple all-party delegations are visiting countries across the globe. The delegations are engaging with foreign leaders, senior officials, influential think tanks, media, and the Indian diaspora as part of their international outreach.

The delegation, led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda, returned to the country this morning after a successful visit to Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Two more delegation teams are scheduled to return later today.

Speaking to the media in New Delhi, Baijayant Panda termed the tour as very successful, noting that the countries they visited have taken clear steps against terrorism. He said these nations understand India’s concerns and do not require any justification.

Panda emphasized that India is a country rooted in the principle of non-violence, and the purpose of the delegation’s visit was to share facts about the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and India’s measured response to terrorism.

The delegation, led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, will arrive in India after concluding its visit to Russia, Latvia, Slovenia, Greece, and Spain.

Another delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha is also scheduled to return this evening. Earlier today, they held a meeting with Malaysia’s Parliamentary Special Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade at Kuala Lumpur. They  also met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

During their visit, the delegations conveyed India’s strong message of zero tolerance towards terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

Meanwhile, the all-party delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor held high-level meetings with senior leaders and officials in Brazil. The delegation will now travel to the United States for the final leg of its visit. Speaking to the media, Tharoor said the schedule in Washington includes meetings with a wide range of government officials, legislators, senators, congressmen, influential think tanks, media representatives, and committees in both the House and the Senate, along with some public engagements.

On the presence of a Pakistani delegation in Washington at the same time, Mr. Tharoor remarked that the simultaneous visits have drawn heightened interest.

Another multi-party delegation led by NCP-SCP MP Supriya Sule met with Egypt’s Foreign Affairs Council in Cairo. The team also paid floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Cairo’s Al Horreya Garden.

In Liberia, the delegation led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde met President Joseph Nyuma Boakai and Liberia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Sarah Beysolow Nyanti. They also held discussions with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Richard Nagbe Koon. Speaking to the media, Shinde said that all the countries the delegation visited have expressed support for India’s fight against terrorism, acknowledging that terrorism today transcends borders and is a global threat.
