The Ministry of Ayush invites citizens, institutions, and communities to be part of this historic Yoga Sangam. By hosting local yoga sessions, they can become wellness leaders in their own right.
What is Yoga Sangam?
‘Yoga Sangam’ is the flagship event of the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025, featuring a synchronised mass yoga demonstration based on the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) at over 1,00,000 locations across India on 21st June 2025. The event promotes national integration, health awareness, cultural heritage, and global recognition of yoga, uniting individuals nationwide in a collective celebration of holistic well-being.
Who Can register to organize Yoga Sangam?Â
Any organisation promoting holistic well-being can register to host a Yoga Sangam session. We invite Government organisations, educational institutions, private entities, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), NGOs, community groups, and all other such interested parties to register.
Why should your organization register for Yoga Sangam?Â
The organisers will get an opportunity to contribute to a historic national movement fostering unity and health and promoting India’s cultural legacy. The organisations will be recognised as partners through a certificate issued by the Ministry of Ayush.Â
How will the Ministry of Ayush support?Â
The Ministry of Ayush will provide online training material. The information regarding the availability of CYP trainers in the organizer’s locality will also be made available, if required. Additionally, the branding guidelines for the ‘Yoga Sangam’ event will be shared with the organisers in due course of time.
What are the roles of the Organizer?Â
The organisers are required to conduct the ‘Yoga Sangam’ event on 21st June 2025 from 7 AM to 8 AM at the venue indicated by them in the registration portal. They are also required to mobilize participants and manage the logistics for the event. Post the event, the organisers are required to upload photos of the event and fill up the post-event survey on this portal.
What recognition will the organizers receive?
The Ministry of Ayush will felicitate organisers with certificates/letters of appreciation for the successful execution of their ‘Yoga Sangam’ event. They will be appropriately featured in regional/national reports highlighting their role in conducting ‘Yoga Sangam’.
What are the selection criteria for organizers?
There are no such selection criteria for organising Yoga Sangam. Any organisation or group of individuals can organise ‘Yoga Sangam’.
What action is needed after conducting Yoga Sangam?
Organisers are kindly requested to visit the Yoga Portal (https://yoga.ayush.gov.in/) and submit the post-event feedback form. They are requested to submit details on the number of participants and upload images from the event.
How will the organizers get certificates?
Certificates will be sent to the registered email address of organisers after they submit their post-event feedback forms.
